Inclusive teaching and equitable teaching practices have shown to be effective in increasing student achievement, belonging, and self-efficacy. By creating teaching spaces that center the learner, we can enhance student persistence and retention.

Please join us for an informative and interactive workshop with an expert in equitable teaching practices, Audra Baleisis from the University of Michigan Center for Research on Learning and Teaching in Engineering. She will share her expertise with a broader audience beyond those who teach in STEM disciplines and will provide information on simple pedagogical practices that can support student learning in the classroom.
