Scholarship Appeal

The scholarship appeal form is to be completed when students wish to appeal the cancellation of their scholarship due to failure to maintain the required minimum cumulative GPA and/or meet Satisfactory Academic Progress. Appeals are due by 5pm on Friday, July 15, 2022 and late appeals are not considered.

Summer Financial Aid

If you plan to attend summer classes, please complete the 2022 Summer Aid Application. You must complete this online application even if you indicated on the FAFSA that you plan to attend during the summer. Please note that some summer aid is limited and awarded in order of application. 

We award all summer financial aid based on half time enrollment. If your enrollment plans change or you have questions about your available aid, please contact our office at 734-487-1048 or email for a review of your summer financial aid eligibility.

Special Circumstances

If you or your family have experienced a change in income, life event, or other extenuating circumstances since filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and receiving your aid offer, please review and complete the Special Circumstance Request Form.

Need to submit additional documents to the Financial Aid Office?

Do you need to submit additional tax forms or other financial aid documents? Click Document Submission Form to submit directly to our office. You will need to sign in with your Net ID and password, complete, sign, and submit. Once you submit, you will receive an email confirmation.

Do you have outstanding requirements?

You can check via your My.Emich account by following these steps:

  1. Log into
  2. Locate the “Financial Aid and Bill Payment” card
  3. Click the Financial Aid Status link
  4. Select the correct aid year in the top right drop down menu
  5. Review Student Requirements
  6. Submit Unsatisfied Requirements
