Interests and Expertise

Dr. Brian Coffey's primary research interests are in value theory and in working on meta-ethical and normative questions about the nature of goodness. Additionally, he is working on some projects in moral theory and applied ethics.

His teaching interests include a wide variety of applied ethics courses (e.g. medical ethics, business ethics, etc), as well as social and political philosophy, philosophy of law and logic.
