Graduate Assistant, The Honors College
B.S. in Psychology with double minor in Biology and Chemistry
M.S. Candidate in Experimental Psychology
I am from Canton, Michigan and am currently a graduate student at EMU. I graduated in August 2015 from EMU with my B.S. in Psychology and am an alumna of the Honors College. I graduated from the Honors College with University Honors, Departmental Honors in Chemistry and Psychology, and Highest Honors. I am in my second year working in The Honors College, but my first year as a graduate assistant. Prior to being a GA, I was an Honors student fellow on the Research team and now lead the Research team overseeing four undergraduate students. Our work is geared at promoting undergraduate research and assisting students in the process. My personal research interests are in Nueroscience. I am specifically interested in the neural structure (anatomy) and function (physiology) of orosensation (taste, mechanosensation, and thermosensation) and taste perception. I plan to purusue a PhD and become a professor of Nueroscience and conduct research.
Working in the Honors College has been one of the greatest experiences in my academic and professional career. As a graduate of the Honors College, I love sharing the amazing experiences I had as a a member and help other students find these experiences for themselves so they can see all of the amazing things the Honors College has to offer.
