John Feldkamp has been with The Honors College since November 2010, and during his time, the college has over doubled in size as well as increased its graduates, student programming offerings, and outreach efforts. Before working in The Honors College, John was the co-op coordinator at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor's College of Engineering. He is a graduate of The Honors College and completed University Honors, Departmental Honors in mathematics, and Departmental Honors in literature.
Interests and Expertise
John's primary academic interests are the organization and structure of Honors College and Programs. His other interests include student programs and educational structures' impact on student development. John currently resides in the city of Ypsilanti with his wife; Lauren; their three cats, Bonkers, Mattie, and Scottie; and their dog, Copper. John is a graduate of The Honors College where he completed triple Honors: University Honors, Departmental in Mathematics, and Departmental Honors in Literature. He grew up on the farm on the border of Saline and Clinton.
