Pursuing a BS and MA in Occupational Therapy, with minors in Human Nutrition and Human Biology
I'm from northeast Ohio and was attracted to EMU becuase of the community-feel and highly recommended OT program. My undergraduate work was completed at Eastern majoring in Pre-OT- with courses being primarily biological in nature. I am currently a graduate student at The Honors College overseeing two student fellow teams: Communications and Programming. My work is focused on developing ideas, supporting professional and personal growth, and contributing to the overall mission of The Honors College. Prior to being a GA, I was a recruiting student fellow and an undergraduate honors student. I'm passionate about involvement and seeking out opportunities, and like to help and encourage students to seek out opportunities. I was fortunate enough to study abroad to Florence and Rome, Italy, participate in undergraduate research, and get involved in student organizations and community service.
It's fun to be on the "other side" of things as a staff member in The Honors College, because I feel like I share in excitement with current honors students about the possibilities of being an honors college member.
