Professor Gray's home department is the University Library, where she serves as the Information Literacy and Women's & Gender Studies Librarian. She also has served as a Department Member in Women's and Gender Studies since 2006, and has co-taught both the honors sections of WGST 200, Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies and WGST 210, and Gender in a Transnational World. She has served as an Undergraduate Symposium faculty sponsor to more than a dozen honors students since 2009.
Her current research interests include examining the intersections in teaching writing and research as an iterative process, effective academic and cultural supports for first-generation college students, the application of constructivist college student cognitive development theories to information literacy program development, and both feminist and critical literacy pedagogy.
Suzanne has served as a Trustee of the Ypsilanti District Library since 2003
