COT 170 Global Technologies

Course Description: Students analyze and synthesize information from diverse sources to explore how communications, energy, and medical technologies influence cultural interactions. Students explore the issues of intolerance, along with historical, social and cultural differences and how they affect interactions with those cultures in order to make informed decisions. 

 

Students learn to apply critical thinking and analysis in five distinctive areas; historical, ethical, technical or scientific, ecological, and anthropoligical/sociological.
