The Honors College
Housing
At Eastern Michigan University, students who are enrolled in The Honors College have the opportunity to live in designated Honors dorms. These are Downing Hall and Best Hall. Both halls are conveniently connected to The Commons, one of EMU'S dining centers.
Downing Hall gives preference to students enrolled in The Honors College while Best hall is open to students with a 3.3 GPA or higher. A variety of Honors College-related activities are regularly held in the halls, and students will have greater access to professors and The Honors College Staff. A number of Honors classes are held in the main lounge of each building.
