The Children's Institute is an on-campus daycare and preschool serving the children of EMU faculty, staff and students. Children aged 18 months through six years enjoy early childhood half or whole day programs taught by qualified teachers. The Collaborative: Ypsilanti YMCA Child Development Center is a collective community-centered  response to providing quality child care to low-income families in Ypsilanti and to EMU students with children.
