Why You Like Working Here

My job entails relationship-building with our community college partners allowing me to meet many different people. I also really enjoy helping students transfer to EMU.

Favorite EMU Moment

I love the first week of fall classes. It’s really nice to walk around and meet new people. There’s a really good energy on campus that first week of classes in the fall.

Inspiration

I'm inspired by seeing students graduate. It's so exciting to me. An undergraduate degree is a lot of credits, so it's a big accomplishment. It's rewarding to know I collaborated with our partners across the state trying to create a better environment for students to complete their degrees.

Surprising Fact

It’s kind of a funny one. I’m afraid of the squirrels on campus because they follow me around. It makes me nervous.

Next Goal

Personally, I’d like to meet more people across campus. I’d like to learn more things about the university that I didn’t know because it’s such a big place. Within my office, my biggest goal is to maintain and update the 142 articulation agreements we have, as well as continue to grow.
