Why You Like Working Here

I work with great people, both within my department and across campus and we have unbelievable student athletes. It makes my job fun and rewarding.

Favorite EMU Moment

Quite a few! During the time that I have been working in athletics we have broken a lot of records and experienced a lot of program firsts. Last year, our women’s cross country/track and field program won the Triple Crown (MAC championships in all three sports) and our women’s gymnastics team qualified for the NCAA Regionals for the first time in the history of their programs.

Motivation

Professionally, it’s helping develop the student athletes and prepare them for life after college. We often talk how the decisions we make everyday impact the lives of other people’s children. As a mom myself, I see the importance in making sure we’re thoughtful in how we approach our work.

Superpower

I’ve always wished I could teleport to wherever I wanted to go. It would be efficient and save so much time.
