Favorite Campus Spot

I love the area of campus near McKenny, especially the fountain. It reminds me of when I was a student and McKenny was the union. A jazz trio used to play there once a week. I really enjoyed that.

I’m drawn to Wonder Woman and because I see autonomous strength and critical thinking in one woman. So I would want my superpower to be an extension of Wonder Woman’s ability to view society in a multifaceted way; critical but compassionate, autonomous and independent.

The students always inspire me to learn more, create more classes. Their viewpoints inspire me to create new courses.

Surprising Fact

From April to December, I drive Model T cars at Greenfield Village. I get to educate guests about the history and culture of the Model T.

Next Big Goal

That is something I have been asking myself since the beginning of the year. I want to be able to teach gender and sexuality from a more complex point of view; to teach my classes in a more robust way.
