Infrastructure Advisory Committee


The Infrastructure Advisory Committee handles any and all matters associated with wired and wireless networks, network services (e.g., firewalls and directories), and general purpose I.T. equipment (desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and software) used by individuals in multiples units of the university.  Discipline specific I.T. equipment for teaching, learning, or scholarly activities used by students, faculty, or staff in a single department, school, or college is not in the scope of this committee's work.


  • Three representatives from the Division of Information Technology
  • One college technologist representative from the Campus Technologist Committee
  • One faculty representative appointed by Faculty Council
  • One representative from the EMU Foundation
  • One technical representative from the University Library
  • One representative from a business unit for Business and Finance
  • One representative from a business unit for the Physical Plant
  • One representative from a business unit appointed by the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management
