SFARHST - Verifying a Student has Registered for Classes

The Student Registration History and Extension form (SFARHST) is used to view a student's registration history. When a student contacts the Help Desk indicating they do not have an email account, a technician will uses the information on this form to determine if the student has ever registered for classes and if they have registered in the last eight (8) semesters. 

Note: In order for a new student to have an EagleMail email account, they need to have registered for classes for the first time. Registering for classes triggers the creation of a student's EagleMail email account. Additionally, in order for a student to maintain an EagleMail email account, they need to have registered for classes within the last eight (8) semesters.


Follow these directions to view information in SFARHST:

  1. From the Banner Main menu, type the form name in the Go To... box press the [Enter] key on the keyboard.

  2. The form is displayed. If necessary, search for the person. See Searching for a Person by ID or Name for more information.

  3. Click the Next Block button on the toolbar.

  4. The first information block is populated. If there is registration history displayed. The student has registered for classes. Locate the Term column to determine the last semester the student registered for classes.

  5. When you are finished, click the Exit button on the toolbar to return to the Banner Main menu.
