SSAXLSQ - Viewing Cross Listed Sections

Use the Schedule Cross List Query (SSAXLSQ) form to view cross listed sections by their group identifier or to locate any unused codes.

Follow these directions to view information in SSAXLSQ:

Note: The first step is not necessary if you arrived at this form via the Cross List Group Identifier field in SSAXLST.
  1. From the Banner Main menu, type the form name in the Go To... box press the [Enter] key on the keyboard.

  2. The form is displayed. Type the term code in the Term field. 
    Note: To search for a term code, click the Term field pull-down arrow. A list of term codes are displayed. Locate and double-click the code to return to the form and display it in the Term field. See Glossary of Banner Codes and Fields  for more information about term codes.
  3. Type the first character that corresponds with your department, followed by a wildcard (e.g. A%). See Cross List Group Identifier Naming Conventions for more information. 
    Note: Alternately, type the cross list identifier you want to work with in the Cross List field.
  4. Click the Execute Query button on the toolbar.

  5. A list of identifiers are displayed in the Cross List column. Click an identifier and view the associated cross listed sections in the Cross List Section block. 
    Note: Use the Vertical scroll bar to navigate through the list. Click on each cross list group identifier to determine which are unused or available for use. If none in the list are available, you will need to create a new identifier based on the next potential one available in the list.
  6. When you are finished, click the Exit button on the toolbar to return to the Banner Main menu.

    Note: You will be returned to the previous form if you arrived at this form via the Cross List Group Identifier field in SSAXLST.
