Library Building

• See current hours
• All building users must check in at the station inside the entrance, and must complete the Daily Health Screening before coming to campus, or on a paper form when entering.
• Face coverings are required at all times for all persons.
• All floors are open.
• Group and individual study rooms are available.

Library Materials

• The second and third floors are now open and users can get items from the shelves.
• Most library materials can be requested for pickup. See instructions and more information on pickup.
• Digitization of print book chapters or articles is available. See instructions and more information on digitization.
• Return library materials to the outside book drop to the right of the library entrance. See additional return options.

Research Help and Instruction

• Ask a Librarian chat provides 24/7 real time research help from librarians. EMU librarians can also reply by email or phone.
• In-person help starting January 24th (or when in-person classes resume): Monday - Thursday, 11am - 5pm.
• Subject librarian appointments or general librarian appointments via Zoom.
• Faculty can contact subject librarians to coordinate remote or in-person library instruction for courses.
  
  
  
  
  

Interlibrary Loan and MelCat

• MeLCat and Interlibrary Loan services are operating normally.
• If you need a chapter from a book not available at EMU or MelCat, please submit the request as an article request in ILLiad.

Course Reserves

• Physical course reserves are available for Winter 2022.
