Education

  • Ph.D., Bowling Green State University

Interests and Expertise

  • Statistics

I enjoy applying statistics for solving real-world problems relating to biostatistics, survey sampling, nonparametric statistics, survival analysis, categorical data analysis, and power analysis. Before joining EMU, I held positions of research associate and research analyst at Wayne State University and University of Michigan where I generated and analyzed cancer and mental health data. I also held a faculty position with Texas A&M University-Kingsville. I am proficient in using SAS, SPSS, STATA, Minitab, R, MatLab, Mplus, SEER@Stat and Advanced SEER@Stat software.

I like to supervise undergraduate and graduate students' research, along with teaching statistics and mathematics courses. I appreciate collaborative and consulting opportunity in using statistical methodology and software towards data analysis and decision-making.
