CD Descriptions and Purchase
This recording is comprised of ensembles from the 2017-2018 & 2018-2019 academic year. The recordings hold literature performed at the 2017 MI ACDA, 2018 MMC, 2018 Central/ North Central ACDA performances and the 2019 European Tour. Composers include Ēriks Ešenvalds, Jonathan Dove, Francis Poulenc, Josef Rheinberger, Pärt Uusberg, Fredrik Sixten, Joseph Haydn, Victoria, Felix Mendelssohn and many others.
This recording is a collection of tracks from the first annual EMU Candlelight Concert. The album is comprised of traditional seasonal music combine with choral art songs. Tracks include; In the Bleak Midwinter, Lux Aurumque, Ding Dong Merrily on High, Carol of the Bells, Sing we Now of Christmas & many others.
This recording is taken from the 2015-2016 & 2016-2017 EMU Choirs. This album features a four movement work composed by the conductor Brandon Johnson entitled Songs of Love, Hope & Wonder along side compositions from other living composers. Works by Jake Runestad, Stacey Gibbs, Daniel Elder, Gunnar Eriksson, Ēriks Ešenvalds, J. Aaron McDermid, René Clausen, Morten Lauridsen, Tarik O'Regan and Shawn Kirchner are included.
Only the Wonder is a wonderful compilation of recordings taken from the 2014-2015 Academic Year. It holds recordings of Bach, Palestrina, Mendelssohn, Lauridsen, Clausen, Whitacre with a complete recording of the Faure Requiem.
