Eastern Michigan University Bands celebrates their 46th annual workshop event: AIM: Artists Inspiring Musicianship. AIM Day is a day designed for high school students like you. Join us and be a part of this special event.

At AIM Day, you will have the opportunity to attend an instrument-specific workshop presented by EMU’s outstanding artist-teachers. In addition, you will join other instrumentalists to attend a session related to music and a recital presented by our applied faculty.

The focus of the day will be on helping you achieve the highest level of musicianship and artistry on your instrument, but you’ll also have lots of fun and meet students from other high schools throughout Michigan and Ohio.

At the conclusion of the day you will enjoy dinner on us and receive a FREE ticket to our BANDORAMA concert extravaganza, where you can join your friends and family at 7 p.m. at Pease Auditorium for a fantastic show featuring the EMU Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, and Marching Band.

Auditions for the select 2019 EMU Honors Band will take place during the morning of November 17, prior to AIM Day events. If you would like to audition to be part of this elite honors band, held in January, please indicate your interest when you complete the AIM Day online registration.

If you have further questions, please contact us. emu.bands@emich.edu or by phone at 734.487.1430
