Jennifer Fisher earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy from Western Illinois University, a Master of Arts in Piano Pedagogy from Eastern Michigan University and level 1 certifications from the Gordon Institute of Music Learning (GIML) in early childhood music, elementary general music, and piano. She teaches functional piano classes for music majors in EMU's Department of Music & Dance as a Part-time Lecturer Faculty. She also serves on the faculty of the department's Community Music Academy.

Off campus she might be found teaching piano at Concordia University-Ann Arbor, teaching early childhood music classes at the Vineyard Childcare Center-Ann Arbor or serving as a summer GIML faculty member.
