Courses Taught


Music and music education have always been a passion for Margaret Thiele. At EMU, Professor Thiele currently teaches music for Education majors as a Part-time Lecturer Faculty. In 2003 she was nominated for Outstanding Lecturer of the Year. In addition to classes at EMU, Margaret teaches General and Vocal music in the Dexter Community Schools at Creekside Intermediate School.

Professor Thiele is a member of TI:ME, MENC, ACDA, AOSA and NMTA having held offices in the local chapter of the Ann Arbor Area Piano Teachers Guild Foundation Board. She has also served on the Piano Faculty at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Twin Lake, MI for five years.
