YPSILANTI – The EMU Nonprofit Leadership Alliance (NLA) presented awards to several on-campus faculty as well as community partners at an awards event on Friday, April 15. The event was held by the NLA, Office of Academic Service-Learning, the Institute for the Study of Children, Families, and Communities, and VISION Volunteer Center to celebrate community and university collaboration.
The NLA presented awards to the following individuals and organizations:
Outstanding NLA Leadership: Dr. Chris Foreman and Dr. Claudia Petrescu
Outstanding NLA Partnership: Washtenaw Coordinated Funders including United Way of Washtenaw County, Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, Washtenaw County Office of Community & Economic Development, and Saint Joseph Mercy Health System
Outstanding NLA Campus Advocate: Dr. Jeffrey Bernstein & the MPA Program
Outstanding NLA Faculty Member: Dr. Donald Ritzenhein
