Online Orientation Modules

As a supplement to our in-person Orientation programs (SOAR and EMU Connect), students will complete a series of online modules to learn information about Housing, EMU Dining, Academics, and Financial Aid, among other resources. Students are able to complete these modules at their own pace, and can reassess the information at any time.

Modules should be completed at three different times: pre-SOAR, post-SOAR, and pre-EMU Connect. Completing them this way will allow information to be available just in time, instead of all at once.

  • Pre-SOAR modules: Welcome, Paying for College, Academics, Student Life (available in mid-February)
  • Post-SOAR modules: Safety and Wellness, Next Steps (available in mid-March)
  • Pre-EMU Connect modules: EMU Connect (not available until July)
