Data Retention Schedules

Eastern Michigan University's data retention schedules can be found below. Please Note: these schedules do not represent every type of data collected or stored by the University. They are instead a reflection of those types of data for which the university commonly receives public inquiry. As a reminder, some departments have unique data retention responsibilities that may change or take precedence over these general university practices, for a variety of reasons. The schedules on this site should be viewed as guidelines only. If you have questions concerning data retention practices at EMU, please email [email protected].
