Master's in Higher Education – Student Affairs
Graduates of Eastern Michigan University's Higher Education Student Affairs (HESA) program are prepared for exciting careers in student affairs and higher education. The program aims to train you for entry and mid-level administrative positions in universities. Our students receive a high-quality, practice-based learning experience.
Employment in higher education and student affairs is projected to grow by approximately 10% between 2016 and 2026.
Our academic offerings focus on quality, relevance to the field and are taught by experienced faculty. Our course schedule is ideal for students and professionals with courses offered in several formats: evening, weekend, week-long, hybrid and some online formats.
Situated in Southeastern Michigan, our location is ideal for you to gain valuable experiences through graduate assistantships and internships at the many colleges and universities in the area. In addition, we offer co-curricular opportunities on main campus including: Brotherhood and Sisterhood Initiatives, BEST program, UNIV courses and study abroad.
