The Middle Huron Watershed

Public Participation Plan

A Public Participation Plan, much like a Public Education Plan, is a plan that's required by way of EMU's NPDES II Permit and involves fulfilling the everlasting need for public participation from the campus and the surrounding community. EMU uses the PPP developed by the Huron River Watershed Council (HRWC) because it fulfills all the necessary requirements for establishing a well informed public. Without participation from the public, it would not be possible to protect the Huron River Watershed from both current and future harm.
