Interests and Expertise

American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer

My Journey in personal fitness began over five years ago when I played competitive sports in high school. I had challenges to overcome though before I could excel in those sports. I had to completely transform my mind and body in order to compete. I lost 50 pounds, gained strength, flexibility and endurance. Just when I thought anything was possible, an injury threatened to end it all and probably would have. It was through physical therapy and working with my own personal trainer that I was able to recover and expand my love of how the human body works. After much consideration I chose to turn down the path of pursuing athletics in college so I could commit this time towards educating others on how to properly exercise.

I believe that I am best suited for training clients with strength training and weight loss goals. My approach to training is to educate a client on proper lifting techniques to ensure their safety and effectiveness. I emphasize full body movements as an efficient way to address multiple muscle groups in a single exercise.

I look forward to changing the lives of the people who need help adopting a healthy lifestyle.
