Biosketch

Most sponsors require some sort of summary of the relevant credentials and experience of the key personnel on the proposed project. A common term for this is a "Biosketch" and in effect it is a brief professional resume´ that is prepared per the sponsor's guidelines. The National Science Foundation and National Institutes of Health each have specific guidelines for biosketches (attached) that must be followed or you risk having your proposal declined without review. NSF limits biosketches to two pages, NIH usually limits them to five (new in 2015).  ORDA has provided information on biosketches and  a sample biosketch to view and download.
