Eastern Michigan University is asking its alumni to take its survey: EMU Innovation, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship: Assessment and Increasing Alumni Engagement .  The purpose of the study is to measure the impact and economic footprint EMU alumni make on the economies of Michigan, the United States, and the world as professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders. Data will be used to develop EMU’s business engagement and commercialization programming and infrastructure to help realize the innovation, startup, commercialization, research and entrepreneurial engagement potential of EMU alumni.  

Below is an announcement to all EMU alumnus from Interim Associate Provost and Associate Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Wade Tornquist:

Dear EMU Alumnus,

You are invited to participate in a very important study at Eastern Michigan University to measure the impact EMU alumni have on the economies of Michigan, the United States, and the world as professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders. Data will be used to further develop EMU’s business engagement and entrepreneurial infrastructure to help realize the innovation, research, and entrepreneurial potential of EMU students, faculty, and alumni.

To better understand the success of EMU alumni and their interest in supporting entrepreneurship and research at EMU, I encourage you to take the attached survey. The results will provide valuable information that can be incorporated into programs and improvements to EMU’s business engagement and entrepreneurial infrastructure.
