Heather Eleanor Mooney is a Residency Manager in Public Housing at the Ann Arbor Housing Commission. Previously she worked for seven years as a Foreclosure Prevention Housing Counselor at the Washtenaw County Treasurer’s Office, dealing with both property tax and mortgage foreclosure. Heather is returning to Wayne State University to complete her Ph.D. this Fall 2013 specializing in Inequality studies.
Ms. Mooney received her master of arts degree in sociology from Wayne State University in 2009. She was awarded her bachelor of arts degree from Eastern Michigan University, Magna Cum Laude, in sociology in April 2004 with a minor in philosophy as well as double Honors (both Departmental - Sociology and University Honors).
