Barak is the author and/or editor of numerous books on crime, justice, media, violence, criminal law, homelessness, human rights and corporate crime. His latest book, Unchecked Corporate Power: Why the Crimes of Multinational Corporations are Routinized Away and What We Can Do About It was published March 3, 2017 . He received the 2012 Outstanding Publication Award from the White Collar Crime Research Consortium of the National White Collar Crime Center for his book, Theft of a Nation: Wall Street Looting and Regulatory Colluding. Barak is also the editor of the Routledge Series on the Crimes of the Powerful.
