Samantha graduated from Bowling Green State University with a BA in sociology and psychology. She currently works at the University of Michigan's Institute for Social Research as a survey technician, and volunteers at the Humane Society of Huron Valley. Samantha worked with Dr. Ajrouch as a Graduate Research Assistant, examining national and religious identity in Tunisia. She has not yet narrowed down a thesis topic, as most areas of sociology interest her. In her free time, Samantha enjoys playing with her cat, Oliver, collecting vinyl records, reading fiction, and being outdoors enjoying nature with her boyfriend.
