The Eastern Michigan University Student Handbook contains information for students about available university services, university policies and procedures, and helpful information to aid in student success.
This handbook is effective for the 2023-2024 academic year, beginning August 28, 2023. Changes may be made in this Student Handbook whenever necessary, and shall be effective as of the date on which they are formally adopted, or on the date specified in the change. If major changes are made to the handbook, students will be alerted via their university email. In addition to the policies and information included in this Student Handbook, your college or school may have specific guidelines, policies, and procedures for which you are responsible to know. Please consult your college or school for their specific guidelines, policies, and procedures.
