Biography
Kyoko Kawase was born and raised in Aichi prefecture, Japan. Besides serving as a Japanese-English translator and interpreter, she taught Japanese to students of several age groups in various settings. She currently teaches at the Japanese School of Detroit, where for seven years she has helped native Japanese elementary school children learn in a Japanese-style education system.
