EMU College of Education pays tribute to its generous donors with special recognition wall

The College of Education is an area of pride for Eastern, widely recognized for its innovative programs and highly qualified graduates. Like many thriving schools and programs, the EMU College of Education relies heavily on the support of donors to enhance the educational experience.

In acknowledgment of this generosity, the College has installed a recognition wall on the third floor of Porter. Located in the south stairwell entryway, the expertly crafted glass panels are inscribed with the names of several hundred benefactors that have contributed - and in many cases, continue to contribute to the College and its success.

"Support from donors and friends absolutely impacts the student experience," said Rae Anne Yuskowatz, who oversees development efforts for the College of Education. "Contributions to general funds help us expand opportunities for students and faculty, elevating the classroom experience. Additionally, many EMU students struggle with the financial obligations of attending college. Donations to scholarship funds keep these motivated students on their educational track. This recognition wall is a just one way of expressing our gratitude to these generous supporters."

The College of Education recognition wall will be updated periodically to include recent donations. To make a gift, please visit the EMU Foundation site.
