Scholarships

The 2025-2026 Scholarship Application Process is now open. Applications with all materials must be submitted by Friday, February 7, 2025.

Instructions

  • View the available scholarships [PDF] and choose which ones you'd like to apply for.
  • Download the scholarship application [PDF] and fill it out completely. Please ensure that any scholarship you would like to be considered for is listed on your application.
  • Prepare a resume for submission with the application.
  • Prepare an essay for submission with the application.
  • Some scholarships may require a personal statement, references, letters of recommendation, etc. Be sure these are included in your packet.
  • After gathering all your materials, you may deliver them in person to Sill 207 or via email. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

The Process

  • Once the application packet is received and checked for accuracy by the Dean's office, it will be forwarded for review.
  • Award recipients will be notified in April 2025.
  • The names and applications of individuals selected to receive awards will be forwarded to the Office of Financial Aid for final verification and funds transfer to the student's EMU account no earlier than July 2025.
  • Ann M. and Allan S. Remp Network and Information Security Scholarship - Endowed

    Awarded to students who have successfully completed (with 3.0 average) 6-9 credit hours in Network and Information Security courses.  Student must submit an explanation detailing how they plan on using the award (conference, travel, tuition, research, etc)
  • Ann M. and Allan R. Remp Network and Information Security Scholarship - Expendable

    To provide support to students studying network and information security who are pursing research and/or scholarly activities.  Undergraduate and transfer students must maintain a 2.75 GPA, graduate students must maintain a 3.0 GPA.  Students must have successfully completed 6-9 credit hours in network and information security courses and provide a cover letter (no longer than one page) detailing how they plan on using the award (conference, tuition, travel, research, etc).
  • Mark Stanislav Scholarship

    Awarded to students who are studying Information Assurance and/or Cyber Security with a minimum 2.98 GPA.  The Donor requestes that the following be taken into consideration and can be in your essay:  first generation in family to attend College; achievement of goals despite financial and/or other challenges.
