2022-23 scholarship materials were forwarded to School Directors on Friday, March 18, 2022.  Students who are recipients of the scholarships will be informed of their selection between Monday, April 4, 2022, and Monday, April 18, 2022.  School-specific scholarship award notifications will be sent by the individual Schools.  College-specific scholarship award notifications will be sent by the Dean's Office.  Financial Aid will be notified in July 2022.

  • Download the scholarship application [PDF] and fill it out completely. Please make sure that any scholarship you would like to be considered for is listed on your application.
  • Prepare a resume for submission with the application.
  • Prepare an essay for submission with the application.
  • Some scholarships may require a personal statement, references, etc. Be sure these are included in your packet.
  • After gathering all your materials, you may deliver them in-person to Sill 207 or via email. Please note: Incomplete applications will not be considered.

The Process

  • Once the application packet is received and checked for accuracy by the Dean's office, it will be forwarded for review.
  • Award recipients will be notified.
  • The names and applications of individuals selected to receive awards will be forwarded to the Office of Financial Aid for final verification and transfer of funds to the student's EMU account.
  • Ann M. and Allan S. Remp Network and Information Security Scholarship

    Awarded to students who have successfully completed (with 3.0 average) 6-9 credit hours in Network and Information Security courses.  Student must submit an explanation detailing how they plan on using the award (conference, travel, tuition, research, etc)
  • Mark Stanislav Scholarship

    Awarded to students who are studying Information Assurance and Cyber Security with a minimum 2.98 GPA.  The Donor requestes that the following be taken into consideration and can be addressed in the essay that is due with your application:  first generation in family to attend College; achievement of goals despite financial and/or other challenges.
