All applicants for admission to the master's degree or graduate certificate in quality management must meet the admission requirements of EMU’s Graduate School.
- Have successfully completed a four-year baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- Possess a minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.70. If GPA is slightly lower than 2.70, you may be conditionally admitted to the program.

Conditional admission is for those who do not meet minimum criterion for admissions requirements. There are different types of conditional admission. The final determination is made by the Graduate School.
The Graduate School policy states “must achieve a grade point average of a 3.0 or greater at the end of the semester in which they complete 9 credit hours, or will be dismissed.”
