Eastern Michigan set to begin $16 million renovation of Rec/IM building

Eastern Michigan is set to begin a major renovation of the Olds-Robb Rec/IM Building, a series of enhancements that will add significantly to the quality of student and staff life at the University.  The $16 million renovation, details of which were outlined Friday, Dec. 14, 2018 at the regular meeting of the EMU Board of Regents has already started with completion set for August 2020. New episode of EMU Today explores Eastern's diversity, the importance of Title IX and goes behind the scenes of ESPN broadcasts

The latest episode of EMU Today TV looks at Eastern Michigan University's diversity and inclusion and why campus diversity is a point of pride -- and a difference maker for students attending Eastern. The special guest is EMU Professor Devika Dibya Choudhuri, Ph. D., Chair for the Eastern Michigan President's Commission for Diversity and Inclusion. The new episode will be available on EMU's YouTube channel starting Jan. 17.

Eastern Michigan University President Jim Smith offers a special "Thank You" message to the thousands of fans of Eastern Michigan football who attended the game or watched the national broadcast of Camellia Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama.
