Information and news about the university has been frequent lately. Some of the factual information can be found in the section labeled “News” on our website. Additional information is also at the university website.
This web site has been available for more than a year. It is the intention of your Executive Board to use this medium as our primary means of communication - eventually. We are mindful that some of our membership do not have access to the Internet and so we will continue to send out materials through the U.S. Postal Service.
It is the intention of the university to go paperless in the very near future. This means there will not be a printed directory. You may use the electronic directory available at www.emich.edu If you look immediately above the picture you will see the word "directory." If you click on that you will find a place to click on "Faculty, staff, students, and emeritus faculty." One of our problems is that many emeriti have not kept their contact information up to date and therefore some of the information may be dated. If you would like to update your information, please contact one of the Board members.
Your Executive Board is your voice in the university. Please feel free to communicate with any of us about issues or concerns. We will do our best to assist members with their requests.
