Welcome to the Linguistics Program at Eastern Michigan University.

Our program offers an undergraduate major or minor in Linguistics or English Language, and a Master of Arts in Linguistics as well as a Masters Certificate in Language Technology. Our faculty has research specializations in phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, typology and language universals, computational linguistics, psycholinguistics, discourse and text analysis, and minority/endangered languages.
