Arm of Honor

The mission of the Arm of Honor Alumni Association is to preserve and enhance the brotherhood and fellowship of this historic and proud fraternal society. Through our vision, we strive to achieve and promote a strong relationship between our alumni, Eastern Michigan University and the community.

Support Student-Athletes for Olympic Trials

This has been another very exciting year for the Swimming & Diving program at Eastern Michigan University! The women had a very strong showing at the MAC Championships with a second place team effort and victories in the 400 Medley Relay and the 100 Breaststroke. Delaney Duncan then went on to score at the NCAA Championships. The men captured the MAC crown again and sent Tom Gillis, Alex Chan, and Andrew Henry to the NCAA Championships. The program’s championship tradition remains alive and well!

As you know, 2016 is an Olympic year and the team is fortunate to have already qualified seven student-athletes for Olympic Trials. The most recent qualifier is Andrew Henry who added the 100 Freestyle to his list of events in Atlanta after the NCAA Championship meet.  Their might be several other student-athletes either attempting to expand their schedules or initially qualify in meets over the next 6 weeks.

The Arm of Honor Alumni are committed to supporting these student-athletes.  We have issued a matching gift challenge to all EMU Alumni to raise funds to help these student-athletes compete at the highest level of the sport.  Every gift made between now and July 1 to EMU Swimming & Diving will be matched up to $5,000. Join the challenge now and donate to the swimming or diving fund of your choice!
