  • Friday, March 22nd, 2025 - Undergraduate Research Symposium Expand dropdown

    Students will convene to showcase undergraduate and innovative projects from all five colleges at Eastern Michigan University's 44th annual Undergraduate Symposium presented by GameAbove. The public event takes place from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Friday, March 22, at the EMU Student Center, 900 Oakwood St.

    This year’s Symposium features over 200 presentations from 220 students, including poster sessions, oral presentations, and a design-based gallery show. The Symposium allows EMU students, with the support of faculty mentors, to share their research, academic projects, and creative work with the community.

  • Friday, March 28th & Sunday, March 30th, 2025 - EMU Opera performs "Hansel and Gretel"

    EMU Opera performs Engelbert Humperdink’s charming opera "Hansel and Gretel" with members of the EMU Symphony under the direction of Dr. Chad Hutchinson on Friday, March 28th at 7:30pm and Sunday, March 30th in Pease Auditorium on the Eastern Michigan University campus. This opera provides a wonderful opportunity to experience the thrill of live opera performed by EMU students.  “Hansel and Gretel” is a family friendly opera that will be performed in English.

  • Saturday, November 22nd, 2025 - EMU Night at the Lights at the Toledo Zoo Expand dropdown

    The annual EMU Night at the Lights at the Toledo Zoo will be on Saturday, November 22nd! Join over 500 alumni, family and friends for an amazing evening filled with fellowship and fun. Event attendees will enjoy an evening of food, face painting, photos with Swoop and - special for 2025 - visit with a sloth! After spending time with us, stroll through the beautiful display of holiday lights throughout the zoo.

    Tickets will be available beginning in August.
