Do you have children? How many?
None.
How did you meet?
We met freshman year while living in Phelps Hall. We had met through mutual friends and once we realized we lived in the same building, we began spending time together and its been like that ever since!
Where was your first date?
Our first date was to Putterz. We finished it off with a trip to the QuickFixx for snacks and a movie.
Any cute memories you have together at Eastern?
We have numerous memories from Eastern. Some favorites are meeting between classes to walk with each other to the next and spending endless nights at the Rec challenging each other in pool and ping pong.
If married/engaged, how did they propose? If it was on campus, where?
Kevin told me he had a friend on campus that needed to borrow a book (two years after graduating so she should have been suspicious!) so he needed to stop there. It was during winter break and campus was empty. Kevin took me down to the bridge over the frozen pond and proposed there, right where it all started!
What are the two of you doing now?
Kevin is an Electrical Engineer at a company in Southfield and I am a Marketing Specialist at a company in Plymouth. We are both doing exactly what we went to school for and are very happy with our careers. We are also deep into wedding planning for our wedding in July this year!
Any romantic advice you would give to students:
We were lucky in that we found each other without looking and instantly had a connection. We truly believe that when you find "that" person, you will know! No questions asked!
