  • Relationship Status: Married
  • Anniversary Date: July 16, 2011

Do you have children? How many?

2 dogs.

How did you meet?

We met during EMU Fusion Orientation, during the PlayFair at Bowen Field House. We bumped into each other on accident and ended up talking. We then met again at Fajita Fest the next day and breakfast the day after. We found out we lived in the same dorm and had a class together and that was that.

Where was your first date?

We were friends for the first few months and we did lots of things together. We didn't actually have a first official date.

Any cute memories you have together at Eastern?

Way too many to count! We loved playing badminton at the Rec, walking around and playing over by the old student center and all the beautiful art sculptures.

If married/engaged, how did they propose? If it was on campus, where?

He proposed at a picnic on campus by the lake, very close to Bowen Field House where we first met.

What are the two of you doing now?

We are both teachers. We just graduate with our masters degrees from EMU.

Any romantic advice you would give to students:

Enjoy the time you have together without the weight of the world and responsibility. It's easier to have fun and make time for each other then.
