Love Story: Kenny Sosnowski and Sara Pebbles

• Names: Kenny Sosnowski (2013) and Sara Pebbles (2014 and 2016)
• Relationship Status: Engaged

How did you meet?  

We met at the Convocation Center while working at the EMU Ticket Office. We both were student employees there for our entire undergraduate time at EMU.

Where was your first date? 

Kenny also worked for an airline during undergrad and one of our first dates was flying to Atlanta and back in one day just for dinner. Locally our first date included Olive Garden and then getting ice cream at the Dairy Queen on Washtenaw.

Any cute memories you have together at Eastern?  

Many of our memories at EMU are from working sporting events, concerts, graduations and theater shows. Always trying to get on the same lunch break or put at the same gate for football games.

I was a business major and when it was nice out Kenny would walk me to the COB for class. We loved walking around campus and Ypsi and would frequently walk to get ice cream and then sit at the Ypsilanti Freighthouse and watch the trains go by.

What are the two of you doing now?

We are currently engaged and getting married on August 18th of this year!

Kenny actually proposed outside of the Convo after I graduated with my M.B.A from EMU.
