Gerald Armstrong CPA Scholarship
Gerald Armstrong was an Eastern Michigan University College of Business alumnus graduating with a degree in accounting in 1965. He founded his own CPA firm and believed strongly that the CPA career path was advantageous for students. As a result of this belief Mr. Armstrong established the prestigious Gerald Armstrong CPA Scholarships to encourage current and incoming students in pursuing their MSA degree, a pathway leading to the CPA designation.
Criteria
To apply for one of the Armstrong Scholarships students entering the MSA program must meet the following criteria:
- regular admission into the MSA program, conditional admits do not qualify
- financial need as determined by the University’s office of financial aid
- your tuition must not be supported by your employer
- submit scholarship application by June 15
