Biography

Molly Paberzs is a performer, choreographer, and educator originally from Ann Arbor, MI. Her work centers improvisational and collaborative artmaking practices. Molly has been a part-time lecturer at Eastern Michigan University since fall 2017, and was a guest choreographer for the EMU dance program in 2019-2020. Molly holds an MFA in dance from the University of Michigan and recently served as Rehearsal Direction for U-M’s Department of Dance. She is also Curatorial Assistant for U-M’s Daring Dances initiative. 

Molly received her BFA in Modern Dance Performance with an emphasis in Choreography from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. As an artist in Philadelphia, Molly produced work for the Philly Fringe Festival, Mascher Dance Space Co-op, Philly Dance Fest, at Dance New Amsterdam in New York City, and was the recipient of the CEC New Edge Mix Artist grant. Molly performed with Group Motion Dance Company and independent artists Nicole Bindler, Curt Haworth, and John Luna before returning home to the midwest to pursue arts administration and advocacy. Molly continues to perform locally and across the country as an independent artist.
