Special Populations

Aside from doing campus-wide suicide prevention and mental health awareness work, SAFE Now will also focus on three special subpopulations that are at a higher risk for mental health concerns than other groups of students. Those subpopulations include:

• LGBT* Students
• Student Veterans, &
• Honors Students

These three subpopulations are at a  significantly higher risk for mental health struggles than other student populations.
