About the United Way Workplace Campaign at EMU

EMU has partnered with United Way for the past 40+ years to ensure that people in the greater Ypsilanti-Ann Arbor community have the tools they need to thrive. We are proud to be apart of a network of other local employers who Light the Way to a Brighter Future for our communities including Washtenaw Community College, the University of Michigan, Washtenaw County Government, and countless others.

As part of our partnership, United Way has organized an annual United Way Workplace Campaign, encouraged our employees to take  part in their 21-Day Equity Challenge and received grants from United Way to support programs like Swoops Food Pantry and the Family Empowerment Program

United Way also supports other organizations that directly support our EMU community including Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels, Child Care Network, and A Brighter Way. There is little distance between the communities and people that United Way supports and serves and our own EMU community.

This year, EMU is encouraging their employees to think about giving to or through United Way to another 501c3. The Workplace Campaign takes place from February 12 to March 8. Your gift could make a world of a difference for families in our EMU community.
